Come learn the benefits and basics of babywearing!  After a brief introduction to babywearing and the different types of baby carriers, enjoy the opportunity to try out a variety of carriers (wraps, ring slings, soft-sided carriers), learning tips and techniques from other babywearing mothers!

No experience necessary. Parents, parents-to-be, and caregivers welcome, as are nursing babies and babes-in-arms. Try out the carriers with your own baby or with one of the baby dolls provided.

The more mamas who share their babywearing advice and knowledge, the more fun this event will be!  If you love a particular type of carrier and are willing to do a short, informal demo of that carrier and your favorite holds with it, please contact me, Laurelin Evanhoe, on Facebook or at birthmatterswilliamsburg@gmail.com or williamsburgmothering@gmail.com!  We need volunteers!
